This program is open to all Teenagers and Adults, regardless of ability or previous experience.
Mixed Martial Arts blends the best of striking, wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. At Toronto BJJ, the MMA class incorporates Boxing, Kick-Boxing, Wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Cardiovascular fitness and strength and conditioning play a crucial role in our classes as they are essential in MMA competition.
We now proudly offer instruction stright from Chute Boxe in Brazil. Chute Boxe fighters hold a 3-0 record against current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, with all wins coming by way of knock out. The Chute Boxe system has also been used to knock out Rich Franklin and Mirko "Cro-Cop" Filipivic in the UFC. The Chute Boxe system uses their own unique style of Muay Thai kick-boxing, developed in Curitiba Brazil, and blends it with BJJ and wrestling. The results are incredibly dynamic and effective work outs, as well as many successes in competition.
