November 7, 2004 Toronto BJJ at Joslins Tournament
Toronto BJJ was at it again a week later in Hamilton Ontario. With Yael taking 2 silver medals, Chris A taking home silver, Josh Bronze, and Daniel with the Gold.
November 4, 2004 Toronto BJJ Promotions
Congratulations to Toronto BJJ members on their promotions. Professor Wgnney Fabiano made the following promotions:
- Blue Belt: Jason L, Scott B, Mike K, Chris C, Anthony, Bill, and Daniel
- Purple Belt: Domenic and Ken
Wagnney also confirmed the Black Belt Mark Bocek has received his instructor’s bars from Joao Roque in Brasil.
October 31, 2004 Toronto BJJ cleans up at Gracie Nationals
A group of 5 competitors went to Columbus ohio and took home 6 Golds and 2 Silver Medals.
- Domenic took his mens master division, and then placed 2nd in the Adult category losing to Relson Gracie’s son in a final that saw Dom almost get the arm lock twice.
- Yael Young submitted all her opponents in her weight class and open weight divisions.
- Keenan received one gold by acclimation and then won a super fight 12 - 0 against the winner of the weight class above him.
- Daniel submitted all of his opponents to take his weight class.
- Josh lost in overtime of his weight class final.

- Domenic - Gold & Silver
- Keenan - 2 Golds
- Yael - 2 Golds

August 25, 2004 Toronto BJJ wins 2 Canadian Submission Wrestling National Titles
Congratulations to Toronto BJJ members Mark Bocek and Rob Dicenso for both of them winning the 2004 ADCC Canadian Submission Wrestling Championships. They will represent Canada at the ADCC North American Trials. Dan Elmy also took Bronze in Mark’s division.
